Yesterday it was sunny and cloudless; and my son suggested that we go shopping at IKEA at College Park and WALMART.

From your and my point of view, the way it looks, everyone in US seems to be having enough resources. On our way this image in my mind  of an affluent US was shattered. The temperature outside the car was 45 degrees Fahrenheit (7 degrees Celsius) and freezing.

 

Do you see the woman in the center of the photo standing in the middle of the road holding a placard?

 

I couldn’t read what was written since we were in the third lane. So, I zoomed in with my camera; and was shocked. This is the legend:
